Speaking
“What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs.” (Matthew 10:27)
I’m a reluctant public speaker. I used to be terrified of speaking in front of people and I would freeze in panic. But one morning, the above verse spoke to me. My heart and mind began to burn with the urgent need to share what God has taught me throughout my years of pain, depression, and burnout. My calling didn’t rid me of my fears, but the importance of my calling surpassed my fears. Now, I can delight in teaching God’s word, which in itself is a miracle.
